After over a decade of a flourishing working relationship and friendship, Juliana and Rachel decided it was time to focus on creating the salon atmosphere they always envisioned. With Shelley joining, there is a perfect balance of heart and innovation. JR Hair Studio is an elevated, more personal experience where the goal is always to be welcoming, professional, and a creative source for hair care you can trust!
Passionate about hair care & color, astrology, and reading, Juliana has found her calling in finding ways to share her enthusiasm through hair styling. Whether it’s a healthy trim or big chop, lived in blondes, vivid colors, or bringing back a corrective color from the brink of disaster, she has seen it all in her eleven years as a stylist.

A longtime active Brighton resident, Rachel has over twenty years of experience in the hair industry. For over two decades she served Brookline’s Coolidge Corner neighborhood with passion and dedication. Her talents and specialties range from blonding and grey coverage to wedding and formal event styling!
Rachel
With over thirty years of experience working as a hair stylist, Shelley has technical experience in precision and creative haircuts in any style! She is a specialist in working with blondes and redheads, as well as balayage and vivid color. There is no idea of yours she won’t tackle with confidence and a smile. You may know her as an avid member of the local music scene, as well as a devoted pet mom to her furbabies!
